It’s the year end Cosmic Surge that happens every year as the Sun and other planets cross paths with the Galactic Center. “Life is in session,” Saturn reports. Further, he declares, “I realize the end of the year stress and holidays clutter up progress, but I don’t see enough of you celebrating Saturnalia, dammit. You can’t simply allow festivity stuff to lull you out of a proactive stance in life. Hey, I’m soon moving into Aries for a reason. And that is: do it (everything) for yourself and only yourself. Whatever you need to do to fulfill life’s fantasies, get it done with no lollygagging. You know, to celebrate Neptune’s role and conjunction in my upcoming sign tenure. Over yonder, Uranus and Sedna stir up a fuss about making changes and who bears responsibility for actions you take. Duh, you do. Only you. Others will shun you if project responsibility for poor choices you made onto them. Wake up and smell the coffee. Why am I saying this coffee thing now?”
Allow me to step in, Saturn. This is my e-zine after all. On Thanksgiving day I ran into a story that trytophan has been discovered on the Apollo asteroid Bennu. You remember, the asteroid poked by a probe and with surface samples successfully returned to Earth. Many samples currently undergo analysis and study right here in Tucson. Tryptophan, you know the restorative amino acid that makes a body sleepy. There’s lots of trytophan in holiday turkeys, thus the justification for that nap after eating.
Bennu, with a period of 1.2 years, took its name as an Egyptian mythological figure, sometimes portrayed as a heron, and in affiliation with Osiris, Atum and Ra. Bennu’s name was suggested by a student in a naming contest, possibly with the cross reference to the asteroid sampling mission, NASA's OSIRIS-REx. Perhaps the probing event was unprovoked retaliation given that Bennu possesses a non-zero chance (1 in 2,700 for betting folks) of impacting Earth down the road a piece (2182). Considered a potentially hazardous object (PHO), Bennu’s node is 2 Aries 7; its perihelion 8 Gemini 17 (both positions heliocentric)
As Saturn engages the North Node of Bennu as the Sun sees things, stay awake, especially at the wheel of pursuing destinations in life. Saturn’s heliocentric conjunction with Bennu’s node occurs a couple days after the 3 January event of Earth achieving its annual closest proximity to the Sun. The Earth’s perihelion supports an urgent priority system for tackling all life’s mundane considerations - especially those that contribute directly to one’s legacy. This is a nice fit to the Saturn passage to Bennu’s North Node. And added to this, Uranus clearly sets a wake-up alarm on 31 Dec 2027 as the patriarch of the patriarch (Saturn) engages Bennu’s perihelion stressing the urgency of getting on with making something out of all new ideas... and consistent with Saturn in Aries, you do it.
Meanwhile, Mars in Sagittarius now squares Saturn in Pisces and then takes on the illusive Neptune. All these planets stretch beyond the solar system as they aspect the Galactic Center in Sagittarius. Here’s more emphasis for smelling whatever beverage or activity gets you awake and functioning after slumbering. This may be a testy transit, especially if working gizmos or the nuts and bolts of life that do not slip easily in place. “Someone should make something to make this easier to do,” one may mutter between bursts of fretful swearing. Saturn snickers and retorts, “You recognized the need. What? You can’t invent what you can imagine?”
Currently, the Sun and soon Venus engage black holes in mid-Sagittarius. Preach only what you can practice. Reassess what is organic and natural and do precisely that, targeting only the best objectives for your destiny and pursuing causes that contribute to your karma. If you need a mentor, do not seek peer review (or AI input). Guidance best comes from viable, experienced sources only, like someone who has been there and done that and assimilated all the subtle messages of the experience. The shifts induced in these black hole warps to the time-space continuum preset the upcoming transits of the Sun (18 December) and Venus (22 December) to the Galactic Center. Realistically, these transits can be felt for ten days to a fortnight starting next week, and if really leaning in, maybe even now with Mars so precise to the Galactic Center.
This means it’s time to take input from only accurate, trustworthy sources. Once a reset of perspective, a clearing of your psychic cache and redirection toward your own inner tracking mechanisms, then and only then can you fully receive the blasts of insights stimulated by Mars, the Sun and Venus as they square Saturn and Neptune. This year, the promise of grander, more progressive developments clearly exists as the Sun and personal planets do their annual conjunction thing to the galactic array of Sagittarius and the potent black holes (including the Galactic Center) that render free insights and innovations. And of course, such cosmic inspiration requires downloading, installing and extensive application before attempting to guide others in the use of such insights. As far as cosmic development goes, be quick, but do not hurry. The fate of your life and your participation on the planet may hang in the balance. Ah, that lusty year-end cosmic pressurized set of transits.
